Verification Policy
Every scholarship listed on Fully Funded Scholar is checked against its official source before it is published. This policy explains what our verification means, how we do it, and what happens when a program changes after we publish.
What Verified Means
When we say a scholarship is verified, we mean that we have read the official scholarship page, the official call for applications, or the official university page for that program, and that the key facts in our article match that source at the time of checking. The key facts are the official name of the program, the provider, the degree levels, the funding package, the eligible nationalities, the eligibility rules, the required documents, the application steps, the official application link, and the deadline.
Verified does not mean that the scholarship will stay open, that the rules will never change, or that you will be selected. It means the facts were true on the official page when we checked them. Scholarship providers can change their rules after we publish, so you should always confirm the current details on the official page before you apply.
Checks Before Publishing
Before an article goes live, it passes through a simple set of checks. First, we confirm that the program exists and is run by a real university, government, or recognized funding body. Second, we read the official page and note the facts listed above. Third, we compare our draft against the official page line by line to catch errors. Fourth, we test every link in the article, including the official application link, to make sure it opens the right page. Only when those checks pass do we publish.
We do not publish a scholarship based on a social media post, a forwarded message, or another listing site alone. If we cannot find an official page for a program, we do not list it.
How Often Pages Are Re-checked
We re-check our published scholarship pages on a regular basis. Pages for programs with a deadline in the near future are checked more often. We also re-check a page when a reader reports an error, when a new application cycle opens, or when we learn that a program has changed its rules. When a re-check finds a change, we update the article with the new facts.
Because scholarship cycles run on different calendars, a page may show the dates of the most recent cycle while the next cycle has not been announced yet. In that case, the article says so clearly and tells the reader when the next cycle is usually announced, based on past cycles, with a note to check the official page for the new dates.
What Happens When a Deadline Passes
When a deadline passes, we mark the scholarship as closed for that cycle. We keep the article online because students use it to prepare for the next cycle, but we make the status clear at the top of the page. We do not present a closed scholarship as open. When the provider announces the next cycle, we update the article with the new dates.
What Happens When a Program Changes
If a provider changes the funding amount, the eligibility rules, or the application steps, we update the article to match the official page. If a program is paused or ended, we say so in the article and stop presenting it as an open opportunity. If a program is replaced by a new one, we publish a new guide for the new program and link the old article to it where that helps the reader.
What We Cannot Verify
Some things are outside our control. We cannot verify how a provider will judge your application, how long a decision will take, or whether you will receive a visa. We cannot verify claims made by third parties about a scholarship. We also cannot guarantee that an official page will stay online or that a link will never break. We check our links regularly and fix broken ones when we find them.
Report a Problem
If you find a detail on this site that does not match the official page, please tell us. See our Report Incorrect Information page for what to include. We check every report against the official source and correct the article promptly when a report is right.
